About Us

The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) was nationally founded in 1919. Our mission is to support our veterans and local community. The American Legion Auxiliary is made up of the male and female spouses, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. 

 

Unit 26 Activities

 - National Poppy Day is celebrated on the Friday before Memorial Day

 - ALA Palmetto Girls State is an amazing week of learning focused on responsible citizenship, leadership, and love for God and country. South Carolina's website

 - Fundraisers help us sponsor girls to attend Girls State
